Yesterday we woke up early, had some coffee and went to church. After church we walked around the church grounds and finally saw the famous grotto of Key West. The grotto was built to seek protection from hurricanes from Our Blessed Mother Mary. Since it’s construction in 1922, Key West hasn’t seen a devastating hurricane. Pretty interesting. Yesterday we drew some really awesome wire frames and later went to Seven Fish for dinner, which was amazing. Mischa had the fresh Black-fin tuna over penne pasta and Jacob had the grilled Wahoo over angel hair pasta.

Driving down to Key West wasn’t as terrible as I thought it would be. The day we left, we got off on a rough start because of the snow. Once that was cleared away, it occurred to me that we have a second refrigerator and that everything in there had to be thrown out. So I threw everything out. The neat freak in me emerged. We decided to pack up and leave to Key West from January to mid March to work on projects and hang out in a very creative atmosphere.

Jacob left his cofounded businesses for a variety of reasons. Needless to say, it was one of the best decisions he ever made. He couldn’t be happier on his own, working on projects he believes in, and collaborating with really talented people.
